Dearest friends, I would like to talk about the different levels of memberships within VCA. In VCA we have two classes of memberships as described in the Model Rules; Ordinary Members and Supporting Members. Ordinary Members (sometimes referred to as financial members) are members who have completed the membership form and paid $20. The Management Committee have recently changed the membership fee structure. Ordinary Membership is now $25 for 5 years. To become an Ordinary Member you are required to submit an application form which requires the support of two current Ordinary Members of the Association. We would love to see our membership grow as this will enable us to develop as an organisation. Increased membership means increased input and ideas of how we can continue to achieve our mission in the future. Steps to follow: Email jasontaane@veteranscare.com.au with the information outlined below. Content of email: 1. Name of current Ordinary Member who is proposing you as a new member. 2. Name of current Ordinary Member who is seconding you as a new member. Sign DocuSign: The membership form will be sent to the proposing member, seconder, and you to sign electronically. Pay fees: Make a direct deposit of fees into the VCA account Once fees are received you are now an Ordinary Member of VCA which means you now can have a say in the future of the organisation and you can also put your hand up to be a member of the Management Committee moving forward.
